EIPA Conference 3-4 December 2015

The European Institute for Public Administration (EIPA) held its annual conference to review developments in European Union Law in Luxembourg on 3-4 December 2015.

Peter Gjortler spoke on recent developments in the jurisprudence on tax law at the European Court of Justice, where the Court continues to face the limited competence of the European Union in tax matters, which calls for careful interpretation of the implications of tax law for existing European Union policies and competences.

John Grayston spoke on recent developments in the jurisprudence on Article 34 and Free movement of goods, with particular reference to the implications for the implementation of the proposed EU-USA TTIP.
