In memory of Davide Rovetta
It is with profound sadness that we confirm the death of our colleague and partner, Davide Rovetta. Davide died unexpectedly in his sleep on 1 October 2026.
Davide was a valued member of our firm. A genuinely gifted and innovative lawyer who had unrivalled experience in EU customs law, international trade and WTO matters. His work as an advocate, adviser and author made a lasting contribution to the firm and to the clients he served.
Davide was also literally a larger than life personality and however difficult the situation, a joy to be with. He was a mentor to a large number of lawyers and advisors who he had met over the years and then kept in touch with.
Above all, our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go to his partner and their wonderful daughter.
We will all miss him deeply.
